Let’s think that tenouchi is easy and simple.
You should remember three things to practice tenouchi.
1. Don’t make the Tenouchi form before raising your arm. please make it while moving your left hand to the target.

3. push thd bow with the root of your hand.
These three things enable you to press the bow strongly.
Tenouchi is not how to grip the bow but the correct form when pulling it fully.
Many people think that Tenouchi is how to grip the bow. So Japanese kyudo teacher teachs the kyudo practicioner to align your tip of three fingers(middle, ring, little finger) and touch your tenmon line to the bow before raising your arm.
But, tenouchi is not making when Yugamae but making when Kai.
The old kyudo book explains the left hand form when pulling the bow fully such as slightly raising your left wrist, closing your little finger and your thumb.
For Example, the old book explain how to use your left hand is Tikulin ryuu.

Therefore, you should not align your tip of three fingers when holding your bow. you should think the suita ble position of your left hand to align your tip of three fingers when pulling the bow fully.
If you put the bow on tenmon line when holding the bow,

therefore, you should think the suitable your left hand from pulling the bow fully.
