The difference between beginner and kyudo muster is how to use your body while pulling. kyudo master use the side muscle but beginner use shoulder muscle too much.
In research using muscle potential, it found that kyudo master used the back of arm muscle while puling. you can use your back of arm muscle if you use side muscle while pulling because these are connected.
On the other hand, it found that beginner use the front and back muscle while pulling. That is incoefficient to pull the bow accurately.
Beginner often raises your left shoulder while pulling. It’s because your side muscle loosen and your shoulder muscle tighten. As a result, your left shoulder rise up.
Therefore,
To tighten your side muscle gives some of advantage.
